Install Tor Browser on Ubuntu

Let’s take the first step in logging into the dark web

Let’s start this new guide on using the dark web safely. I state that yes, it is true that there are many dangers on the dark web, but they are exactly like those found on the web that we know, so just operate with common sense.

Without going into too much detail, I decided to write this guide a bit backwards, starting from the software you are going to use, explaining how to use it, and giving guidelines on how to access the dark web to search for information. I will try to explain everything there is to know in numerous small articles, so as not to make it all the usual complaint.

This article is dedicated to those who use Ubuntu, and in particular we will talk about the installation of the Tor browser.

Install Tor on Ubuntu

Open the terminal and type the following command

sudo apt install torbrowser-launcher

After installation we start Tor, then click on the Connect button to connect to the network.
