Gnome To Do syncs with Google Tasks

Manage activity from Google to Ubuntu with an integrated program

GNOME To Do is a task management application designed to integrate with GNOME. It is extendable via plugins and supports custom activity providers.

It is available by default in the Ubuntu installation, but if we don’t have it, it would still be possible to install it from the Ubuntu Software app.

The application is very similar to the Wunderlist client (we talked about it here), with the difference that it does not require registration with an external service, and if necessary, it still gives the possibility to interface with Google Tasks to synchronize with it.

After enabling email synchronization in Settings > Online Accounts, we will automatically find all the lists (and their contents) from Google Tasks directly to To Do.

At this point, while creating a new list from To Do we can decide whether to create it on the local computer, or on the Google account. In the event of synchronization problems, it would be enough to check and re-point the synchronization of emails in the account setup.
